AGA wins a € 2,2 million ICC arbitration case

AGA won an arbitration case brought before the ICC against KSB SE & Co, a leading manufacturer of pumps and valves. AGA’s client, a Greek company involved in the trade of pumps and their spare parts, as well as in the execution of turn-key electromechanical projects, has been awarded by virtue of an arbitration award € 1,6 million plus applicable interest as damages for breach of contract and tortious behavior in the context of an exclusive agency and distribution agreement between the parties.

AGA wins a €600 million arbitration case

AGA’s client has been awarded a total sum exceeding € 600 million for damages for breach of contract and tortious behaviour in the context of a lease of a property in the Athenian riviera.

Arbitration between leading hotel/resort and management company

AGA represents the owner & developer of one of the leading hotels & resorts in Elounda Crete in arbitration re a dispute between client and a German Tour Operator affiliate in Greece regarding their hotel management agreement; total value of claim and counter claim €32 mn.

Dispute between luxury resort developer and building contractor

AGA represented TEMES S.A. a premier developer of luxury mixed-use resorts in the Mediterranean in arbitration re a contractual dispute between developer and building contractor.

Landmark contractual dispute decision

AGA represented the developer of one of the most prominent resorts on the Athens Riviera in arbitration re a contractual dispute between developer and the PUBLIC PROPERTIES COMPANY (owner of plot where resort is built). The arbitral court’s decision (in favor of client) was the landmark decision on which other arbitral courts – dealing with disputes between same parties – relied upon to issue their decisions.

Representation of Greek Lottery in share purchase agreement claim

AGA acted on behalf of OPAP S.A. before the ICC International Court of Arbitration in a claim relating to the interpretation of the terms of a share purchase agreement.
