AGA successfully represented OPAP S.A., the Greek Lottery Operator, in three claims raised by a former agent challenging the suspension by OPAP S.A. of his agency’s operation and seeking over € 189.7mn in damages; claims rejected by the Court of First Instance.

Representation MIZUHO Ltd against PUBLIC PROPERTIES COMPANY

AGA represented MIZUHO CORPORATE ADVISORY CO. LTD., subsidiary of MIZUHO FINANCIAL GROUP, one of the largest financial conglomerates in Japan, in a civil litigation against the PUBLIC PROPERTIES COMPANY (a 100% subsidiary of the Hellenic Republic). Said litigation was concluded in 2015 and the Supreme Court awarded AGA’s client an amount exceeding €13mn.

Representation dairy giant DELTA FOODS S.A. against MEVGAL S.A.

AGA represented DELTA FOODS S.A., one of the leading food product industries based in Greece, in litigation against MEVGAL S.A., a Greek dairy products company and some of its shareholders (holding a 43% stake), in a claim for the implementation of a preliminary agreement for the transfer of shares of MEVGAL to DELTA.

Representation HELLINIKON S.A., in land ownership dispute concerning former HELLINIKON AIRPORT

AGA successfully defended HELLINIKON S.A. (100% subsidiary of the Hellenic Republic which was established in 2011 for the administration, management and development of the land, premises etc. of the former HELLINIKON AIRPORT in Athens) in a dispute for the ownership of an area of 4,850 sq. m. (part of a larger area of 11,000 sq. m. also disputed), located in the coastal region of Agios Kosmas in Attica Greece: value of claim € 2,1mn.
