In this edition, our Partner Eirini Stappa  draws on her hands-on experience to write about “Strategic Investments: From Fast Track to Practice.” Her article looks at what really happens after a project receives Strategic Investment status, when the legal framework has to deliver real results.

The message to investors is clear: securing Strategic Investment status is only the beginning. The real value is won or lost in execution. Careful planning, coordination with the authorities involved, and ongoing legal support through each stage of the project often decide whether an investment keeps its momentum or loses time.

Greece has the right legal tools. The next step is making them work as quickly in practice as they do on paper. Closing that gap will be key to building investor confidence and to keeping the country competitive as an investment destination.
