AGA represents and advises GERMANOS S.A., a multinational chain of retail electronic goods vendors based in Greece, in numerous cases and issues relating to its business.

Legal opinion to mobile telecommunications provider

AGA rendered legal opinion to STET HELLAS TELECOMMUNICATIONS S.A., (now WIND HELLAS S.A.), an integrated cellular mobile telecommunications provider in Greece, relating to a claim brought before the Athens Courts by one of its non-exclusive agents in Greece and another claim brought before the arbitral court by one of its contractors claiming compensation for the provision of goods and provision of relevant services.

Legal opinion on infringement of right to transmit soccer matches

AGA rendered legal opinion to FORTHNET S.A., regarding the infringement of the exclusive right of unrestricted transmission of several football matches in Greece through specific television channels.

Legal advice on Greek telecommunications investment

AGA supported SABAN CAPITAL GROUP Inc., a private investment firm based in Los Angeles, CA, focused on media, entertainment and communications investments, in participating in a call for interest to effect the restructuring of the capital structure of WIND HELLAS TELECOMMUNICATIONS S.A., one of the larger integrated telecommunications providers in Greece; SABAN CAPITAL GROUP Inc. was among the six invited to conduct further due diligence and submit final and binding offers.

Representation Hellenic Telecommunications Organization

AGA represents and advises the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization S.A., (OTE), the main telecommunications provider in Greece and, along with its subsidiaries, one of the largest telecom groups in South Eastern Europe, in a number of cases and issues relating to its business; AGA successfully defended the president and CEO of OTE against a €52mn claim brought by TELEDOME for alleged abuse of dominant position.

Legal opinion to licensee of digital radio and television services on transfer to non-licensee

AGA rendered legal opinion to a legal entity-licensee for the provision of digital radio and television services to consumers in Greece, in relation to the consequences of the transfer to a non-licensee of contracts for the provision of digital subscriber services and of the “subscriber data base”.
