Interview with Apostolos Georgiades

Professor Apostolos Georgiades has been interviewed by Ilias Kanellis on weekly newspaper “Ta Nea” of March 31, 2018.
With regard to the current political climate in Greece, Professor Georgiades highlighted that the executive must cease seeing Justice as a tool of its dominance in class struggle or the extermination of its political opponents.
The advise he gives to young jurists is to strive to be the best in whatever they do. At the same time they should be active citizens and be aware that others expect a lot of them because they know (or need to know) the laws.
The lawyer, as much knowledge as he possesses, without moral becomes dangerous to society.
Professor Georgiades concludes that the lawyer, as much knowledge as he possesses, without moral and high-mindedness becomes dangerous to society.
