AGA successfully represented a former CEO of an ASE listed company in proceedings brought against him by the company for alleged illegal competition not during his term of office but some time following its termination. The claim was rejected by the Court of First Instance which upheld that the company may not restrict its former CEO from working in the same market for more than two years following the end of his tenure).

Legal opinion re special liquidation

AGA name partner Apostolos Georgiades provided legal opinion to one of the major casino operators in Greece in relation to matters concerning special liquidation under the Greek Bankruptcy Code.

Rejection of claim against shipping companies based abroad

AGA successfully defended several shipping companies based abroad in litigation brought against them by an individual claiming ownership rights of the companies themselves and requesting official account of their management. The claim was rejected by the Court of Appeal which discarded the assertion that there was any partnership between defendant and shipping companies.

AGA effectively tried yet another pioneer case in family law: a petition brought by the parents of a minor for the assignment of parental responsibility to the minor’s grandfather so that the minor would not change school environment while its parents were relocated abroad for business.
